New Concept For Tendence 2019

At an international media conference held at Frankfurt’s Tendence yesterday (July 1), group show director Philipp Ferger told journalists that the completion of Messe Frankfurt’s Hall 12 this September will offer new possibilities for next year’s show.

“Tendence will be taking advantage of this opportunity to adapt the structure of the show more closely to the various forms of trade and the different purchaser groups,” confirmed Philipp.

“The new layout, which only partially follows traditional divisions into product groups, reflects what is happening in the retail trade itself. High street retailers need to become visitor magnets and must reach out to their customers in specifically targeted ways,” he underlined.

The new concept for Tendence will put customer target groups centre stage. A ‘first’ for the show is that exhibitors will showcase their products according to a specific trading format, focused on lifestyle and target groups.

“The structure of Tendence 2019 will more strongly reflect the needs of the customer,” continued Philipp. “Retailers, both SMEs and volume, will therefore be able to put together their buying choices at the show in a more targeted way and use them in their shops accordingly,” he highlighted. “It is added value for the retail trade.”

Tendence 2019 takes place from 29 June 29-July 2.
