New Scottish Showroom for Ashleigh & Burwood

Ashleigh & Burwood has announced the opening of a new dedicated showroom showcasing the company’s home fragrance collections in Scotland.

“Our showrooms are a great addition to the more traditional and established means of sharing our products with retailers,” comments Ashleigh & Burwood’s managing director Andrew Nettleton.  “It’s just another option for retailers that allows them to explore our ranges in a more relaxed way that can be tailored to their needs.”

The Scottish showroom, which officially opens in mid-March, is housed at Banton Mill near Kilsyth (a former working mill dating back to 1839) and is the brainchild of sales agent Bill McKechnie who has represented home and giftware companies in Scotland for some 24 years.

“With the lockdowns and restrictions to travel we have been through recently, a lot of people are still cautious about mixing in big crowds and travelling,” explains Bill.  “People have done a lot of reassessing in recent times and they are ready to embrace new ways of working. The new showrooms provide a more tailored and personal way to do business.”

Bill will be inviting retailers to visit and sample products from Ashleigh & Burwood, as well as a selection of other well known companies in the home and gift industry: The English Soap Company; Giftware Trading; The Milford Collection and Weve-A-Gift.

Banton Mill is the third in a network of showrooms for Ashleigh & Burwood, joining Newby Hall in North Yorkshire and the company’s showroom at their head office, Heritage House in Surrey.
