For the second consecutive year, Paladone has been listed as the 57th fastest growing company in Britain for international sales, with a two year sales growth of 68%, reaching international sales of £14.2m in 2017.
The recent ninth annual Sunday Times HSBC International Track 200 league table ranks Britain’s mid-market private companies with the fastest growing international sales.
“It’s been an incredibly busy two quarters for Paladone, firstly completing our minority investment with new partners LDC, before announcing our new eco-campaign, spearheading biodegradable plastic in the global gift trade,” commented Paladone’s managing director Graeme Carr. “Being recognised for a second year running in the Sunday Times HSBC Track league tables is a testament to the hard work of the whole Paladone team.
Paladone ranked highly in the 2017 Small-to-Medium (SME) Track 100, with the company saying that it’s no surprise that, with its incredible recent growth, driven by strong demand in Europe and America for its licensed and own-brand ranges, Paladone has appeared again this year in the larger, mid-market, league table.
Amanda Murphy, head of commercial banking, HSBC UK, added:“At HSBC UK we are delighted to back The Sunday Times International Track 200 again this year. All the businesses it showcases have truly inspiring stories to tell about creativity, resilience and ambition to succeed. The 47 companies in the South East of England are putting the region firmly on the map. They are the kinds of enterprises we are thrilled to support and that provide the backbone of our economy, today and tomorrow.”
The league table demonstrates the resilience of Britain’s mid-market exporters. Despite the uncertainty created by the ongoing Brexit negotiations, their international sales have grown by an average of 62% a year over the last two years to a total of £10.1bn, the highest growth rate since 2013.
The Sunday Times HSBC International Track 200 league table is sponsored by HSBC and DHL Express and compiled by Fast Track.
