Paladone Wins A Top Award

Before Christmas, good news for Paladone was that the company was the winner of the Large Business of the Year trophy at the Sussex Business Awards.

The company has continued to work hard in its quest to  become “the eco warriors of the FMCG gifting industry”, with Paladone’s marketing manager Alex Ryan commenting: “We are hell bent on making the world a better place, and won’t be happy until we make everything we do better for the environment, better for the people, and better for the planet.”

He continued: “The judges at the Sussex Business Awards were very excited to learn that we had invested heavily in Breakdown Plastic (BDP), an organic additive that helps plastic decompose at landfill without affecting either its structural integrity or the recyclability of the product. We were the first the first to bring biodegradable plastic to the gift industry and we’re not afraid to shout about it!”

Added Alex: “The judge’s enthusiasm for our eco efforts has re-inforced that we are heading in the right direction.”
