British luxury interiors brand Poodle & Blonde has signed with Lisle Licensing to take their business into a global licensing programme that builds on their success as a wallpaper and fabric brand, focused on the growing global homewares market, which has seen year on year record highs following the pandemic.
“We wanted to create a brand that was a true reflection of our own sense of style, full of print and colour, bursting with creativity and cool,” explain Poodle & Blonde’s design duo Whinnie Williams and Kierra Campbell, who founded their business six years ago with a vision of delivering #stylishnostalgia and #futurevintage. They are now
“We have achieved above and beyond our original expectations, and building on our flair for creating the wow factor in interior trends, believe now is the right time to launch bespoke licensed ranges which engage with today’s consumers and push the boundaries of conventional home furnishings.”
While Poodle & Blonde’s core categories have been focused on collections of high quality wallpaper and fabrics, with colourways, and designs that blend as mix and match – including sustainability options wherever possible – Lisle Licensing will now be bringing to life Poodle & Blonde’s expansion dreams across homeware and accessories, as well as tableware and kitchenware, luggage and bags, home furniture, textiles and fragrance.
Adds Becky Sherwood, commercial and retail manager at Lisle Licensing: “Poodle & Blonde have an extraordinary flair for #stylishnostalgia and #futurevintage, reimagining stylistic home décor of days gone by and bringing it bang up to date for today’s interior trends. We are thrilled they’ve partnered with us and look forward to expanding on their original vision in consumer products.”
Over the past six years, Lisle Licensing has developed a portfolio of UK and international corporate, brand and trade collaborations which include Soho House, VELUX, Mama Shelter Hotel Group, Grey Goose Vodka, COAT Paints, HADEN, The Breakfast Club and MADE.
