Progressive Preschool Awards 2024: The Winners

London toy shop Pingo Pongo – which stocks a wide range of gift ideas, wooden toys, educational and creative games, dress up and books – was revealed as the winner of the Best Independent Gift Retailer category at the Progressive Preschool Awards 2024.

The winners were announced earlier this week (Tuesday 12 November), at a glittering ceremony held at London’s Royal Lancaster Hotel, with the event attended by 400 industry executives from across the retail, nursery, preschool, toy, marketing and licensing arenas.

Welcoming everyone, coo of Max Publishing, Rob Willis, said: “This event happens because of all of you in this audience, and in the whole preschool industry – the fantastic sponsors who back the entire industry, those marketing gurus who enter, those superstar judges we have and, indeed, everyone who buys a single ticket to this day – we thank you.”

The grand finale of the afternoon saw John Carolan, head of category at Boots, Baby & Nutrition, presented with the Outstanding Achievement Award.
