Roald Dahl Story Company Unveils New Gift Lines

With the approach of the annual, global Roald Dahl Day, which this year takes place on September 13, the Roald Dahl Story Company has revealed the expansion of existing licences, as well as fresh partnerships in new product categories.

In the home category, several gift and homeware products will be launching ahead of the September 13 celebrations. Among the companies is Widdop and Co which will be rolling out its most extensive Roald Dahl range to date spanning mugs, photo frames, resin moneyboxes, night lights, clocks, book shelves and cushions.

“Our gift collection brings to life Roald Dah’s four most popular books: Charlie & The Chocolate Factory, James & The Giant Peach, The BFG and Matilda,” Widdop and Co’s marketing manager Sue Grant told GiftsandHome.net

In addition, following the success of its existing BFG and Matilda toiletries range, the Roald Dahl Story Company’s partnership with Bloom & Blossom is continuing to evolve with the launch of five handwashes: Matilda’s Miraculous hand wash, Charlie’s Glorious hand wash, James’ Magical hand wash, George’s Marvellous hand wash and The Twits Wicked hand wash.  Plus, 17 skus are being added to The Book People’s existing gift and stationery collection with a Matilda-focused product range. There will also be new gifting lines from Kimm & Miller.

“It’s a hugely exciting time for the Roald Dahl Story Company and our licensing partners,” comments Rebecca French, senior licensing manager at the Roald Dahl Story Company. “We’re enjoying working creatively with our existing licensees to expand the range of their Roald Dahl offering, as well as welcoming brilliant new partners on board and launching significant new product categories.”

Rebecca continues: “Roald Dahl has a growing presence in licensed product across multiple titles which is set to expand further as we look towards spring 2020.”
