Impressionist, comedian and satirist Rory Bremner is set to bring a host of famous voices to The Great Room at London’s Grosvenor House when he hosts the UK Licensing Awards next month.
Product categories include the Best Licensed Giftware Range and Best Licensed Home Décor, Tableware or Housewares Range.
Rory is perhaps best known for writing and starring in the political satire show Bremner, Bird and Fortune, a mainstay of Channel 4’s comedy output for nearly 20 years.
Most recently, he has been a captain on the comedy panel show The Imitation Game for ITV, and is also returning to the Edinburgh Fringe this year for an impressions-packed performance with co-star Jan Ravens.
Other talents under Rory’s belt include ballroom dancing, where he enjoyed a stint on Strictly Come Dancing in 2011. Partnering with professional dancer Erin Boag, he specialised in the waltz and the quickstep before losing out to Nancy Dell’Olio in the cha cha cha.
Over 1,400 retailers, licensees and industry suppliers are set to attend the Licensing Awards, with tickets available from Createvents on 01183 340085; email clare@createvents.co.uk.
