Scotland’s Trade Fair Kicks Off The Autumn Trade Show Season

With Christmas buying very much underway for gift retailers, the Autumn trade show season gets underway this weekend with Scotland’s Trade Fair Show at the SEC in Glasgow, which will be welcoming visitors on Sunday 20 August and Monday 21 August.

A month earlier than usual, organisers Springboard Events say the earlier timeline gives buyers better timing for Christmas buying, allowing them to top up for Autumn as well as giving them an early snapshot of ranges for 2024. “Offering retailers an earlier chance to get their hands on new products and Christmas stock is both beneficial to them and their customers,” states Springboard Events’ director Mark Saunders.

Over a third of exhibitors are new, offering a wider selection of gifts, homewares, jewellery and fashion accessories, with Enesco, Swole Panda, Shu Da Living, Kate Trouw, Academie and Cairn Candle Company all exhibiting for the first time at the show.

Once again, the Launch Gallery will be returning, supporting new young companies to include MUKA Jewellery, The Ink Balm, Victoria Gordon Art, Designed by Islay, Rosana Exposito, Oir Soap and Wiktor Jewellery.
