Selfridges Unveils Its Biggest Ever Christmas Offer

For consumers who like to start their Christmas shopping early, retailers are starting to showcase their full festive offer, with Selfridges on London’s Oxford Street unveiling its biggest Christmas shop yet, up 20% on last year.

The dedicated Christmas room is offering decorations, lighting, ornaments, advent calendars, giftwrap and cards, as well as personalisation services.

According to trend forecasters Press Loft, two of the biggest trends this Christmas will be Scandi pastels and Botanicals. With cosying up in mind, and complementing ‘cosy’, classic Scandi-inspired décor, Christmas 2022 is seeing a shift from typical Scandi neutrals to a focus on soft pastels, across candles, throws and rustic textures, adding the all-important ‘hygge’ to the home.

Botanicals, a staple in home décor and home fragrancing, is also set to be one of the strongest festive trends this year, combining  luxurious accessories and natural materials to create a lush, sophisticated look for the home.
