With just five days to go to the first in-person Sustainability In Licensing Conference (SILC), a reminder from the organisers that people can also attend the event digitally if they are unable to make it in person.
While there is much excitement about SILC 2022 having a physical presence, the organisers understand that some people are unable to make it to London so, if you’d still like to join in, you can do so via the digital stream which will run within the same time-zone as the live event.
Taking place on Tuesday 18 October at London’s Royal Geographical Society, the event will deliver exclusive insight and research from some of the industry’s leading voices, as well as a whole day of inspirational keynotes, discussions and a breakdown of the next steps you can take to implement better sustainability into your business.
Among the companies attending from the gift sector is Enesco. “Representatives from licensing, product development and the lead of our sustainability initiative at Enesco will be virtually attending the SILC,” confirms the company’s marketing & product director Helen Cottrill. “We are committed to improving our own carbon footprint and have tasked our team to ensure we are using eco-friendly materials and production methods wherever possible, as well as ensuring our packaging uses little or no plastic. Utilising recyclable board, inks and box inners has been a major shift for us over the past two years. I think it is vital that we keep our team up to date with all matters relating to sustainability and ensure that we are in position to meet licensor and customer requirements now and in the future.”
There’s even support for the event from iconic recycling and sustainable living champions The Wombles, who will also be in attendance!
The full agenda is listed below, and content will remain available for 30 days post-event for both digital attendees and live event ticket holders.
To join gift and home companies and allied industry attendees at SILC 2022, digital tickets are £145.00 + vat and can be bought here, with some in-person tickets still available at £275.00 + vat here. For full details on the conference please visit www.sustainabilityinlicensing.com.
