Six Weeks To Go To PG Live

With just six weeks to go until PG Live opens, registration is ramping up to ensure retailers, overseas distributors and licensing folk don’t miss out on attending the world’s largest specialist greeting card trade fair. Held at London’s Business Design Centre on Tuesday 6 June and Wednesday 7 June, visitors can register for a free ticket here.

This latest innovation is sponsored by The Imaging Centre, (600) to celebrate the printer’s 10th anniversary of sponsoring the whole Springboard area, with the inaugural Springboard Intro giving newbie exhibitors an even easier way to debut at PG Live at a special price.

Many retailers and distributors will soon be receiving personal invitations, as The Imaging Centre has just produced a record 8,500 postcards for exhibitors to send to their customers and friends as a reminder that the favourite greetings trade show of the year is on the horizon.

Gold, Silver and Sunshine tickets – also printed by The Imaging Centre, on board donated by GF Smith, for The Retas 2022 and Greats Awards winners and finalists – are also be sent out shortly, giving an even bigger reason to attend as these give up to £150 to spend on orders placed at the show.

“What we started as a one off in the early years of the show as an extra incentive for retailers to attend PG Live has become part of its DNA,” says Warren Lomax, PG Live’s show director. “The tickets have been a great success, with both retailers and exhibitors getting so excited about spending and receiving tickets at the show that it really adds to the buzz.”

4-PG LIVE GRAPHICThe full list of PG Live exhibitors can be found here. However,  visitors are advised to keep an eye on the online list as last-minute companies are squeezed into the floor plan. To help everyone check out who will be there and start to plan their visit, the PG Live Preview which will be sent out shortly.

Visitors can also check out the iconic, wearable art that is the meeters and greeters’ dresses, which are made completely of cards by theatrical costumier Sharon Harvey. This year, themes feature Summer Brights, Green Seen & Bleu-n Away, Animal Magic, and Diversity & Inclusion.

And finally, there is a delicious free lunch for everyone on both days of the show – exhibitors and visitors – plus complimentary tea and coffee available from the roving trollies, along with the fabulous first-night party at the end of the opening day on Tuesday 6 June, where everyone is welcome to pop in to enjoy the drinks and great company.
