Sock Company Among The New Licensees For Pikmi Pops

Sock company Roy Lowe, a supplier of character and non-character socks, is among three new licensees for Pikmi Pops – a range of sweet-scented miniature plushies with a treat inside an iconic lollipop vessel.

The two additional licensees have been confirmed as The Design Group UK, which will be bringing out a range of gift packaging and greeting cards, and Dreamtex which will see the company launch a range of bedding.

The Pikmi Pop target market is girls aged 5 to 9, who love the quirky characters and element of surprise when they unwrap each vessel.

The brand has sparked a playground craze, and huge UK sales are being reported for Pikmi Pops, which has been the number 1 new brand in the UK for the past six months.

The deals add to a -growing licensing programme which also includes Blueprint for stationery and Spearmark for housewares.
