Sophie Allport Partners With The National Trust

Homewares designer Sophie Allport has joined forces with the National Trust with at least £10,000 donated from the sale of her new Woodland collection, launching in September, which will be helping to support the charity.

Sophie explains: “I was inspired to design the Woodland range from my many visits to National Trust places, both as a child, and now with my young family. The collection reminds me of those magical happy times.”

The new range includes fine bone china mugs, a jug and a tea bag tidy, along with a range of Sophie’s popular kitchen textiles including a tea towel, apron and oven gloves, as well as a knitted statement cushion.  The design features woodland creatures and the oak tree.

“The fact that Sophie’s collection is deeply rooted in her childhood experience of nature and the National Trust, shows how important it is that these places are protected for future generations,” comments head of brand licensing for the National Trust Clare Brown. “With every item purchased we can continue to ensure that our houses, garden, parks, coastline and countryside inspire children and families for many years to come.”
