Spring Fair Gets Ready To Welcome Visitors This Weekend

This weekend sees Spring Fair (5-8 February, NEC), open its doors, with a host of highlights across all four days of the show, and thousands of new products showcased and launched across Home, Gift and Fashion.

Co-locating with Spring Fair will be fashion buying show Moda, as well as Source Home & Gift which will be making its debut showcasing gifts, homewares, furniture, toys, textiles, packaging, and stationery and greetings producers and manufacturers from over 20 countries, including dedicated country pavilions from China, three Indian pavilions organised by Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts, and the Handloom Export Promotion Council.

“This year’s Spring Fair is set to offer retailers a truly international and vibrant showcase, with newness and sustainability top of the agenda,” states Nicola Meadows, portfolio director at Spring & Autumn Fair.

Featuring leading industry professionals and rising stars, the Inspiring Retail Stage, located in Hall 6,  features over 40 speakers, sharing exclusive market intelligence, insights and valuable industry information  to provide buyers with the opportunity to increase their knowledge, understand critical market trends and themes, and connect with leaders in the field. A  jam-packed programme features trend updates, e-commerce advice, sustainability guidance and business tips across the four days.

The Style Sisters will be sharing their knowledge and expertise on the hybrid home on Tuesday 7 February at 10.10am on the Inspiring Retail Stage in Hall 6, and the stage will also host trend updates with TrendBible.

For gift and lifestyle retailers with a focus on fashion, Moda – covering womenswear, footwear, fashion accessories and Jewellery & Watch  – will be revealing daily catwalks shows, seminars, workshops and awards, starting at 11am, 1pm and 2.30pm each day, with Laurence Llewelyn Bowen visiting the Lunar stand D40-E41, Hall 2,  at 11am on Sunday 5 February.

In addition, Source Home & Gift  which making its debut at the Spring Fair, will see Laura Tenison MBE, founder of Jo Jo Maman Bebe, giving the keynote speech – ‘ReCommerce Revolution: The second-hand industry comes of age’ – on the new Responsible Retail Stage in Hall 5. Speaking on Monday 6 February at 1.30pm, Laura will be discussing the rise of thrifting, the second-hand market, reverse commerce, and how to build an ethical business.

Elsewhere at the show, the hottest new designs will be revealed on the New Product Showcase in Hall 4, with Debut and First showcases in Beauty, Wellbeing, Housewares, Greetings & Stationery. Also in Hall 4 will be the Sustainability Showcase on the Power of One which will be hosting founder and ceo of Products of Change Helena Mansell-Stopher, and the dedicated Small Business Sunday #SBS Village.
