Having won a Greats awards as winner of the Independent Retailer of the Year East Anglia category, the local media were fast off the mark with follow up articles fanfaring the shop’s success. However, even more exciting news was in the post, with Amanda and her husband Will, co-owner of Love It, receiving a letter addressed to them from the House of Commons, from local MP Nick Boles! It read:

Dear Mr and Mrs Oscroft,

Congratulations! I was very pleased to read in the Stamford Mercury about you being awarded the Independent Gift Retailer of the Year award in East Anglia.

This is a great achievement, especially wining for the second time in four years, along with all the other awards in the past few years. You and your team must be delighted.

Once again, my congratulations.

With best wishes,

Neil Boles MP

“Saying we were chuffed is an understatement!” exclaimed a delighted Amanda and Will.
