Studio Blom To Expand Into Lifestyle With Widdop & Co The First Licensee On Board

Collaborating with greeting card publisher Pigment, Lisle Licensing has expanded its lifestyle portfolio with the recent signing of vibrant design brand Studio Blom.

The first licensee is Widdop and Co. who will work closely with Studio Blom and Lisle Licensing to develop products spanning gifting, home accessories, home fragrancing, dinnerware, drinkware and crafting. The first collection will launch from August this year.

“This is such a fun brand to represent with its bold, out-there designs and the team’s constant enthusiasm to innovate as they move into the licensing sector,” says Becky Sherwood, retail and licensing manager at Lisle Licensing. “We are delighted to have Widdop and Co. as the first licensee who recognise ‘sentiment’ as a consumer trend that retailers are wanting to embrace. Having Studio Blom join the company’s impressive list of existing licensees is a great starting point for growth in 2024.”

Lisle will be broadening Studio Blom’s original greeting card range with stationery lines which include innovative twists on gift presentation, as well as notepads, pens and planners. There will also be a focus on gifts, home fragrance and self-care, as well as seasonal gifting Christmas, Spring seasons 2025/26, confectionery – to include chocolate gifts – along with baking and kitchenware.

Comments Martin Powderly, creative director at Pigment: “Welcome to the colourful, vibrant world that is Studio Blom. We are seeing its outstanding design credentials translating onto many high quality products at accessible price points for the broadest range of shoppers. The team at Lisle Licensing will be taking this brand into many more categories in 2024/25.”

Studio Blom currently retails in almost 1000 independent retailers including Oliver Bonas, Sainsbury’s, Waterstones, WH Smith, Tesco & Morrison’s, paving the way for partnerships which have the potential to grow in line with an impactful licensing programme.
