Talking Tables Scoops The ‘Sustainability Scale-Up Business of the Year’ Award

Talking Tables has received the prestigious Sustainability Scale-Up Business of the Year’ Award, organised by Business Insider.

It marks the company’s first major sustainability trophy, with the judges looking for a company that could demonstrate the impact of sustainable and green ideas that it had implemented across the business, along with commercial success and employee engagement.

“We have been on our sustainability journey for some years,” Talking Tables’ co-founder Mark McCormack told GiftsandHome.net.  “There have been a number of milestones over the past 12 months, to include achieving B Corp status, expanding our offsetting with Ecologi into instant impact initiatives, such as wind farms, and achieving Gold First Mile status for our office recycling. So it’s really uplifting for the team to have achieved our first sustainability award. The journey continues.”

Adds Mark: “It’s a great acknowledgement of the Talking Tables team’s work over the past few years – work that has touched every area of the business – from product and packaging innovation, to office recycling, to production offsetting.”
