Now in their fourth hugely successful year, the Brand & Lifestyle Licensing Awards (B&LLAs) are open for entries! The event will again be building on its strong reputation for rewarding excellence in brand licensed merchandise and IP management, as well as retail execution.
The deadline for entries is February 27, 2019, which will be followed by a validation process for each of the awards sections, involving panels of industry experts pertinent to the categories.
The winners will be unveiled at a lavish afternoon event, held at London’s The Dorchester, Park Lane, on Thursday April 25, attended by over 425 retailers, licensees, brand owners and licensing representatives.
Brand Licensing Europe (BLE) is returning as the headline sponsor, with trade body LIMA once again lending its support.
“Brand Licensing Europe is proud to be returning as headline sponsor of the B&LLA’s 2019,” said Anna Knight, brand director. “This is such an important part of the licensing industry and these awards are integral to shining a spotlight on the innovation and creativity that these companies bring to the table time and time again. We’re really looking forward to seeing who gets shortlisted.”
Added Kelvyn Gardner, managing director of LIMA UK: “Brands continue their progress into the spotlight of the licensing business. Many licensees now look to corporate brands as opportunities in their own right, often building on an entertainment rights portfolio. This is further reflected in more and more brand marketers joining the LIMA family. Rewarding excellence in this field is a duty for all of us, encouraging more players and recognising quality, which is why LIMA enthusiastically supports the B&LLAs as a key event in the modern licensing calendar.”
Other leading industry names who have already pledged their support as sponsors include Style Library, MDR Brand Management, National Geographic, JELC, Vintage Kellogg’s, Start Licensing, Golden Goose, Discovery Consumer Products, Powerstation Studios, Spring Fair and Autumn Fair, TLP, H&A, Beanstalk, Country Living Magazine, TSBA, Brandgenuity and Octane5.
The entry and nomination process for all categories is free and via online submission. All the forms can be accessed from the dedicated B&LLAs website – http://www.brandlicensingawards.co.uk.
