The Elf On The Shelf Expands Its Licensing Deals

The Christmas The Elf On The Shelf 2018 campaign will see many product launches across apparel and publishing, as well as an extension to the successful home textiles range.

“The hugely positive response we have received to The Elf on the Shelf from potential licensees and retailers has very quickly translated into significant signings and some really fantastic product entering the UK market this Christmas,” confirmed Rob Wijeratna, joint managing director at Rocket Licensing. “Looking forward, we are excited to grow the licensing campaign for this timeless and unique brand further still for 2019.”

For Christmas 2018, Roy Lowe & Sons is planning a range of The Elf on the Shelf socks for children and adults, as well as sock gifting; IG Design Group has developed giftwrap and gift bags, while home textiles partner Dreamtex has expanded its product range to include cushions and towels.

Existing The Elf on the Shelf licensees are also building the brand for Christmas 2018.

The Elf On The Shelf tells that story of Santa’s scout elveswho are magically sent into homes to discover who is naughty or nice. The book first appeared in print in 2005 and since then has established itself as a modern Christmas tradition for families. Traditionally, the scout elves hide in a different place in the home every night, where they wait to be found by their adopted families.
