The Gift Awards 2024: The Winners

The winners of The Gift Awards 2024 – uniting The Gift of the Year Awards and The Greats Awards – were announced this evening (Thursday 16 May) at a glittering event, held at London’s Royal Lancaster Hotel.

Hosted by comedian Andrew Ryan, the Awards were attended by some 400 guests, spanning gift retailers, suppliers, manufacturers, reps and agents, who shared in the joy as the delighted winners made their way to the stage to collect their trophies.

In her welcome speech, Sarah Ward, ceo of The Giftware Association, told guests: The Giftware Association stands at the intersection of suppliers and retailers, acting as a bridge that not only connects, but also supports and propels our industry forward. Our mission extends beyond awards and accolades – it is about creating a robust platform where every member can thrive amidst the ever-evolving market dynamics.

“This year, The Gift of the Year Awards attracted a record number of new brands, a testament to our growing influence and the trust you place in us. Each entry was not just a product. It was a story of innovation and persistence, reflective of our industry’s adaptation and creativity.”

Added Sue Marks, editor of Progressive Gifts & Home/GiftsandHome.net: “The 2024 Awards saw an unprecedented level of engagement from retailers and suppliers alike, evidenced by the wealth of nominations from the gift industry at large, as well as from the huge number of gift retailers self-nominating and putting their shops forward.”

The final award of the evening was The Greats Outstanding Achievement Award, (sponsored by the British Allied Trades Federation), which was presented to Hannah Dale, founder and creative director of Wrendale Designs.
