The Gift Awards: ‘Time To Celebrate’ Ticket

As the countdown to The Gifts Awards begins (Thursday 16 May), the fabulous bespoke tickets, designed by Cotton & Grey, will be winging their way to guests next week, plopping through letterboxes up and down the UK.

Revealing the concept behind the unique boxed design, Cotton & Grey’s co-founder Claire Sowden, explains:As we pondered the design direction, our first aim was to infuse it with brightness and fun to fit the party atmosphere, and given that our twenty-minute pure beeswax candles – which are designed to encourage quiet time out of the day for wellbeing –  come nestled inside beautiful gift boxes, we thought these would be perfect for the occasion. We envisioned a concept centred around the essence of time, starting with ‘Time to Celebrate’ on the top.”

She continued: “Beyond offering time to pause and relax, our candles serve as vessels for preserving cherished moments and memories, which this night is all about. The concept intrigued us, leading us to explore the whimsy of Alice in Wonderland and its enchanting ‘eat me, drink me’ theme. We therefore aimed to craft an unfolding journey within the box, revealing the story of the night to come, and a delightful surprise at the end, with a little ‘gift of time’ for everyone to enjoy, relax and recover from the fun of the night before!”
