The Greats 2025: Tell Us About Your Retail Initiatives

As the closing date for The Greats 2025 gets closer – Tuesday February 11 – gift retailers are invited to fanfare their retail initiatives over the past 12 months.

2-GREATS LOGO 2025The category is open to all retailers who have undertaken a specific initiative over the past year that boosted sales of their giftware products and encouraged footfall, through for example, promotions, community activities, charity collaborations, website activity, staff training or through a customer loyalty program.

Last year, The Greats 2024 Best Retailer Initiative category was won by Maybugs – which has gift stores in Bexhill-on-Sea, Eastbourne, Hailsham and Tunbridge Wells – for its artisan market initiative at the multiple’s Eastbourne store, but which gift shop’s name will be on the Greats trophy in 2025?

Last year, finalists in the category were:

  • Brocante (10 stores in Devon and Cornwall) for its Christmas choir initiative at the multiple’s Charleston store
  • House of Cards (7 stores in the Home Counties) for its painting by numbers staff initiative
  • Joco, Nuneaton for its VIP Members Group initiative
  • The Voewood, Blackheath Standard, S London for its local magazine
  • Serendipity House, Kirkham for Its ‘H & Em’ live events

All entries for the Best Retailer Initiative category 2025 should be sent by email to Sue Marks, editor of Progressive Gifts & Home/GiftsandHome.net directly at suem@max-publishing.co.uk stating the relevant categories.

Uniting the gift industry, The Greats Awards have once again joined forces with The Giftware Association’s Gift of the Year (GOTY) awards, with all winners – both The Greats and the GOTY – to be revealed at a fabulous black tie awards event, to be held at the glittering Royal Lancaster Hotel in London on Thursday 15 May.
