The Housewares Show Gets Ready To Open Its Doors

Some of the leading names in the gifts and home industry will be exhibiting at the AIS’ The Housewares Show which is taking place at Cranmore Park in Shirley, Solihull, today (March 3) and Wednesday (March 4).

With the focus is on independent retailers, gift companies exhibiting include Ashleigh & Burwood, Dartington, Dunoon, KitchenCraft, Portmeirion Group, Sass & Belle, Wax Lyrical and Wild + Wolf.

 Exhibitors’ eco credentials will be very much to the fore, featuring sustainable products as well as environmentally friendly processes across the whole of their businesses, including materials, packaging and shipment.

“We are very pleased that most of our suppliers have strong eco credentials, which can be seen not only in the finished product, but also in the packaging and management of their supply chain and manufacture,” says the show’s organiser Deborah Goulthorpe. “The exhibition entrance is dedicated to sustainability, with products and editorial content assisting members to pull together the ‘must have’ products and to back this with authority. In addition, relevant suppliers will be signposted with an eco symbol.”

There will also be curated trend areas displayed around the showrooms, showcasing ranges for Spring/Summer 2020.

Over 100 leading suppliers will be exhibiting across categories that include cookshop, SDA, tabletop, home fragrance, gifts and glassware.

The show offers free entry, free parking, and a complimentary lunch and refreshments throughout the day,
