GB eye’s Peaky Blinders Drinkware won the Best Licensed Giftware, Home Décor, Tableware or Housewares range category at the virtual Licensing Awards last night (Wednesday December 16). Category finalists included the Friends Toiletries collection from Mad Beauty; May The Thoughts Be With You Giftware Range from Half Moon Bay, and the Peter Rabbit Signature Collection from Rainbow Designs.
Also triumphing last night was Miffy which won the prestigious The Classic Licensed Property Award.

A virtual audience approaching 1100 licensors, licensees, agents and retailers came together online to catch up with their peers, network, celebrate and to discover the winners of the Product, Property and Retail categories, as well as the Licensing International UK Rising Star and this year’s Honorary Achievement recipient.
Surprise guests included David Walliams, along with a message from Jim from Friday Night Dinner. Plus, taking a break from his preparations for this Saturday’s Strictly Come Dancing final, HRVY added some extra Strictly sparkle to the evening.
The awards were presided over by HRVY’s Strictly pal – and The National Lottery’s ‘voice of the balls’ – Alan Dedicoat.
“It was a night to remember, not only because it was great to celebrate the worthy winners, but also to see and hear so many friends from the licensing community who came along,” said Jakki Brown, joint md of Max Publishing. “The session rooms were abuzz, both pre and post awards. It was great fun, something so many of us have missed!”
