The Tower Of London Beckons For BATF And NAJ AGMs

The British Allied Trades Federation (BATF) – a sponsor of The Greats 2024 Outstanding Achievement category – and the National Association of Jewellers (NAJ) will be hosting their respective annual general meetings (AGMs) on the afternoon of June 6 at the historic Tower of London.

Following the events, all attendees will be able to explore the crown jewels on a private tour, followed by a sit-down dinner to celebrate The Benevolent Society’s 100th anniversary.  Attendees will be able to enter the Tower of London from 9am to maximise their visit.

President of the BATF, Henrik Skouby, says: “The BATF AGM in June, at the historic Tower of London, will provide the ideal platform to induct a new BATF President who will guide the Federation into the next chapter in its long history. As this is a milestone year for the Benevolent Society, I hope to see all our federated trade associations and their diverse array of members represented on the night.”

Added NAJ chair Heather Callaway: “Our AGM is an invaluable opportunity to engage with the NAJ and learn more about our initiatives and ongoing projects. This is also the occasion when the new chair of the NAJ will be formally inducted into the role, making this an important occasion for me personally and for the Association.”

All are welcome at The Benevolent Society dinner to celebrate its milestone centenary. Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis at a cost of £175 + VAT, including a three-course meal and a private tour of the Crown Jewels.

The Benevolent Society will also be marking its 100th anniversary at its annual Ball at The Grand Hotel, Birmingham on December 5, 2024. Tickets can be reserved here
