Thinking of You At Home & Gift

As Home & Gift gets ready to welcome visitors on Sunday July 14, giftware exhibitors are putting the final touches to the product launches that will be making their debut at the show.

Among the many show highlights are three new sectors – Design Now, Craft and Taste – with the Greeting Card Association, (GCA), currently celebrating its 100th anniversary this year, upping the ante with a specially created display to promote the Thinking of You Week initiative – encouraging people to send greeting cards – that will be fanfaring designs from members who are exhibiting at the show.

Other highlights include an impressive line up of keynote speakers in ShopTalk – to include designer Sophie Conran, former Dragon Piers Linney and jewellery designer and reality star Rosie Fortescue– as well as masterclasses, hands-on clinics and panel discussions. “We’ve definitely upped the inspiration factor in our ShopTalk line-up, so I’d implore all visitors to make some time to sit in on a session or two, after all, the show is as much about enhancing the retail industry through shared learnings as it is about great buying opportunities.”

Louise continues: “Whether you’re an independent store or a seasoned department store buyer, everyone can learn something from our programme.”

Exhibitors and visitors are also invited to a networking event, the Sunday Sundowner, taking place at the end of the first day in the Garden Café, with the new Harrogate Tipple Bar, outside Design Point 3, a cool place to stop off for a gin and tonic.
