TV’s ‘Queen Of Clean’ Reveals Her Favourite Gifts

TV presenter, author, blogger and Instagram influencer Lynsey Crombie is revered as the ‘Queen of Clean’ on ITV’s This Morning. At last week’s Exclusively show, she launched a new range of Swan household cleaning products in her signature pink, with the aim of making vacuuming and steam cleaning fun and less of a chore.

GiftsandHome.net asked Lynsey about her approach to gifting.

Do you enjoy choosing gift for friends and family?

“I’ve always been a big gift buyer. I’m very much against giving people money or a gift voucher. I truly believe that people should put effort into choosing a gift, although admittedly, women are much easier to buy for than men.”

Where do you shop for gifts?

“I live in Peterborough and usually shop for gifts in Cambridge or at Rushton Lakes. I always head for an independent gift shop if I can as I know that I’ll find something different and quirky.”

What approach do you take when buying a gift?

“I like to buy something that reflects a person’s personality, so I think about what they enjoy in terms of their lives, their interests and their hobbies. I feel it’s very important to be thoughtful when you’re choosing a gift for someone.”

What are your favourite gifts to receive?

“I love candles – their fragrance, how they look – and I find them calming, so I’m always very happy to receive a candle as a gift from someone. My favourite fragrances are pomegranate for the living room and lemon for the kitchen.”

What’s the best gift that you’ve ever bought for someone?

“Cute necklaces with a little diamond for my twin 19 year old daughters.”

What’s the best gift someone has bought for you?

“The girls bought me a little heart necklace with a bee on it that I often wear on ITV’s This Morning. I absolutely love it.”
