Vegan Toiletries Get Ready To Launch

As veganism becomes an increasingly popular lifestyle choice, The Somerset Toiletry Co. has been working closely with The Vegan Society, to register products within their brand Naturally European.

The Vegan trademark will start to appear on relevant packaging from February 2020. Naturally European products which have been registered so far include soap bars, hand cream, hand wash, shower gel, body lotion, bath salts, sachets, hand caddies, travel collections and gift sets. Prices range from £3.95 to £13.95 RRP.

The luxury body care collection, blended using essential oils and natural extracts, includes a range of fragrances such as Ginger & Lime, Verbena, Freesia & Pear, Lavender and Rose Petal.

“We have always been cruelty-free, and the majority of our products are vegan, but the addition of The Vegan Society trademark will make it obvious for consumers to identify our vegan-friendly offering,” comments the company’s chairman Sakina Buoy.

Since 2014, the Veganuary campaign has inspired and supported more than half a million people in 178 countries to try vegan throughout January. The main reasons for joining – according to uk.veganuary.com – are reported to be for health (46%), animal welfare (34%) and the environment (12%).
