Wax Lyrical Launches Wrendale’s Debut Home Fragrance Collection

Two British companies, Wrendale Designs and Wax Lyrical, have partnered to bring out a debut 15 piece licensed home fragrance collection, featuring classically British animal illustrations on ceramic scented candle jars and reed diffusers. A Christmas extension will follow later in the year.

“I’m a huge fan of home fragrance, and have always bought from Wax Lyrical, so this was a natural fit for us,” explained Wrendale Designs’ founder and creative supremo Hannah Dale.

Continued Hannah: “In creating this range, it was really important that the fragrance had a fundamental connection with the artwork. Together with Wax Lyrical, we’ve created three fragrances which are reminiscent of Hedgerow, Meadow and Woodland.”

Wax Lyrical’s product development manager, Rachel Holmes, enthused: “Wrendale has been a joy to fragrance. Hannah’s stunning illustrations bring inspiration in abundance and we’re excited to see the reaction from the legions of Wrendale fans.”

She added: “This was a great opportunity for us to introduce reusable pieces to the collection. More and more people are seeking accessories for their home which have longevity, and Wrendale Designs are such collectables that this a relevant message for the brand. From trinkets to egg cups, each piece in the collection can have other uses in the home once the fragrance has come to an end.”

Based in Cumbria, Wax Lyrical, which is currently celebrating its 40th anniversary, is part of the Portmeirion Group.
