Who Received An Invitation To Buckingham Palace?

Having been awarded a 2019 Queen’s Award for Enterprise: International Trade earlier this year, Wrendale Designs’ co-owners, Hannah and Jack Dale, were thrilled to be invited to a reception at Buckingham Palace.

The couple joined Queen’s Award recipients at a special event last month, hosted by Prince Charles, and attended by other members of the Royal family including Princess Beatrice and the Dukes of Kent and Gloucester.

“It felt such a privilege to go through the gates of Buckingham Palace and be shown into the impressive state reception room that has housed so many important events and meetings,” said Hannah.

The company, which has the right to use the accreditation for the next five years, will be receive the Queen’s Award itself at an official presentation later this year.

Wrendale’s export sales have grown more than 400% over the last three years following the brand’s successful launch in the US, Europe and Japan, as well as growing relationships with distributors around the world.

To celebrate their Award, Wrendale is inviting customers to celebrate with them at Home & Gift in Harrogate on July 16 at 4.30pm, stand DP1-B6.
