Win £250 at Giving & Living

Hale Events, organisers of Giving & Living, which opens its doors from January 13-16 at Westpoint Exhibition Centre near Exeter, have announced a daily £250 prize draw.

To be in with a chance to win, retailers are required to place orders with five or more companies at the show, with each order being for a minimum of £200 + VAT. Entry cards can be collected from the information desk.

One lucky winner will be drawn per day, 30 minutes before the show closes. T’s & C’s apply and will be available at the show and on the show website.

“Giving & Living is definitely the show to discover beautifully crafted gifts and unusual home accessories inspired by sun, sand and sea,” Hale Events’ managing director Mike Anderson told GiftsandHome.net. “We are seeing coastal themes in everything from jewellery to home accessories to pocket money gifts and toys. Trending will be products that can be personalised, or tailored for, retailers and tourist attractions.”

This year, the show will have a strongly themed Designed & Made In Britain area, where regional and national makers will be showcasing unique one-off and batch produced items, with a wealth of Cornish makers.

Once again, there will also be a dedicated Newcomers area. Plus, the Coastal Path feature will be leading buyers around the show, while the Coastal Product Revealed area will be showcasing a selection of merchandise from companies on the Path for buyers to browse.

With the show coming on the back of an extremely good holiday season in the South West last year – Cornwall was 20% up on visitor numbers – Mike emphasises that there will be plenty of opportunities for savvy shopkeepers to maximise their return on the staycation trend.

“With Brexit uncertainty, the show offers access to a UK market of independent buyers for those taking part, and for retailers, it provides the products they will need for the 2019 season, right on their doorstep.”

This year, the show will be single plastic free, with a badging system for exhibitors and visitors removing the need for plastic wallets.
