Worth Taking Note

Sustainable stationery company VENT for Change is expanding its stationery range with more UK made raw, recycled notebooks launching at Top Drawer in January 2020. All items are made from recycled or certified sustainable sources and are designed by the company’s founder, Evan Lewis and his team.

“I’d been working in the sustainability arena for nearly 20 years when we launched the range at Top Drawer last January,” explains founder Evan Lewis. “I’d seen some interest in environmental issues come and go over the years but finally, it seems the public, government and big business has started to take a vested interest.”

The launch continues the brand’s innovative, on trend ranges, mixing design with sustainability. Alongside the product launches, a selection of marketing campaigns are planned aimed at consumers, retailers and education establishments.

VENT for Change – which manufactures pencils from recycled CD cases and pocket books from reclaimed coffee cup fibres at the company’s factory in Worcestershire – is also using its stationery as a platform to help protect the planet and support children’s education projects worldwide.

More new products will be unveiled at the London Stationery Show, taking place at the Business Design Centre from April 30-May 1. The show will be celebrating its 10th anniversary.
